The LTT activity “Active Citizenship in the New Homeland Project” was held in Braga, Portugal on 9-15 October 2023, hosted by FAJUB, one of the project partners. The aim of the ActNewHome Project, funded by the European Union Erasmus+ Programme and the Turkish National Agency, is to develop e-learning for asylum seekers and refugees to raise awareness of active citizenship. In this context, the LTT event aimed to improve the knowledge, attitudes and skills of adult educators working with asylum seekers and refugees on active citizenship. There were 32 participants from Marmara University, Başkent Public Education Centre and Kadıköy Public Education Centre from Turkey, FAJUB from Portugal, Scout Society from Romania, Pistes Solidaires from France, Four Elements from Greece, Cuiablue from Estonia.
