The Federation of Youth Associations of the District of Braga (FAJUB) was founded at the 1st District Meeting of Youth Associations, on December 19, 1998, after feeling the need for an entity to represent the district’s locally based associations with the public and political powers.
Faced with a society that is increasingly dynamic and constantly changing, Associativism is the main driver of development and social encounters for many young people. The world is in a profound dynamic that leads to continuous changes, both in mentality and in structures. Humanity has entered an era in which constant and accelerated change has become a normal situation with constant adaptation as its base value. Associativism, with its natural aptitude for rapid and radical changes, promotes and represents the most varied desires and expressions of freedom and timeliness that each young person presents to society.
FAJUB, by being an aggregating engine, of different and varied associative sensitivities in the district of Braga, promotes at national and international level what is best done.
